Knitted case for Kindle Paperwhite

This is a quick and easy case for the kindle. Because of the relative thickness of the yarn and the small needle size, the case is nice and thick. The cables also give the case extra cushion!

Materials:
  • US size 7 double pointed needles (4.5 mm)
  • Medium worsted weight yarn (I used red heart soft in teal)

Directions:
  1. Cast on 60 stitches, leaving enough of a tail to sew up the bottom - about a foot or so.
  2. *K4, P1* until end of round, repeat this round five times.
  3. On the sixth round, *C4F, P1* until end of round.
  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 six times (you should have seven cables).
  5. *K2, P2* all the way around for 6 rounds, then cast off in a tight knit stitch.
  6. Finish by sewing up the bottom with an embroidery needle.
  7. You’re done! Enjoy your new case for your kindle!
